Having the opportunity to view life underwater is a privilege. As a diver I often feel like I am exploring another planet and I have endeavoured to reflect that in my work. The photographs you are viewing on this site are generally of areas no larger than the palm of a hand and are sometimes as small as a postage stamp. My eye is drawn to colour, texture, movement and shape and so I typically view subjects in their most abstract form. As such the striking images showcased here illustrate the minutiae of life on the reef that in my opinion represent the world underwater at its most thought provoking.
